Snow Disappointment is No Disappointment, Really ...

Ok, so I know this may sound weird, but we were all pretty stoked when we heard the forecast for this weekend. We had all kinds of plans for what we were going to do in the 10 inches of snow we were supposed to get. Corey had gotten out the sleds, we unpacked the snow pants and winter coats, got together various objects for snowman accessories, planned to make snow ice cream, then ..... we get a day full of rain and little bit of ice. Bummer! So, we switched gears and planned some other indoor activities:

Here we are making cookies, which is always fun = )

Gage and his perfect little cookies mounds!

Riley got creative and made some cookie "snakes" in addition to his cookie "balls." Yes, he is all boy!

We had a little picnic/luaua in the living room for breakfast one morning. Here's the boys stylin' in their new swim shorts! Riley's funky hair is a result of his rad dance moves = )

Gage showing off his beloved sucker!

The boys made a fort out of the pull-out oversized chair. Good times!

Riley holding an ice pack over his eye. He had busted it open earlier in the week and bumped it again this weekend. Ouch. = (

Corey got creative with a basketball that one of the dogs had gotten a hold of and deflated. Cut in half it makes the perfect little hat!

Here's our crazy man Gager sporting some awesome spikes in the tub!

Riley making waterfalls over his head and Gage appearing to roll his eyes and think,
"Here we go again!"

And finally, here's a little video of Riley singing Row Row Row Your Boat. He has changed the words from "Life is but a dream" to "Life by a Stream." Works for me = )
